  • Vitamin C is an organic compound with antioxidant properties and is absorbed both in the mouth and sublingually in the stomach and small intestine.
  • Vitamin C is one of the most important water-soluble vitamins and significantly protects cells against oxidation processes. Vitamin C plays a key role in collagen synthesis and is therefore important in the formation and maintenance of skin, connective tissue, bones and teeth. Vitamin C has not only been shown to improve iron absorption in the intestine, but also strengthens our immune system against viral and bacterial infections by promoting the production of antibodies and interferon, as well as lymphocyte function.
